Back in the day my parents subscribed to the Sunday newspaper bundle. I would eagerly devour the funny pages while eating breakfast. The Family Circus was published during that time...this comic was so cute!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. There is a Ronald MacDonald house in St Louis, but I have been told it is a first come first serve basis. So if I show up and their is room great. If not...acckkk!
I was given the name Haven House though. There is a small fee to stay but there are great rooms, kitchen units down the hall, family get together nights and 2 meals during the week. Sounds really nice. :)
